Willie A. Richardson was born on August 9, 1961 in Galveston, Texas,  to Claudia Jewel Richardson. He and his mother moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. Later in the same year they relocated to Wichita, Kansas along with cousin Cletha and her son. Willie attended Wichita Public Schools. He had various places of employment as a day worker he worked as a janitor, construction apprentice and at restaurants.

Willie is preceded in death by his stepfather Benne L. Smith; his sister Sonya Cyrus; brother Terrence (Bekie) Harper.

He leaves to cherish his memories; mother, Claudia Jewel

Cyrus; sister, Alicia Shaw; four brothers Eric Richardson,

Ronald Richardson, Theodore Mitchell and Bennie L.

Smith, Jr.; aunts, Linda Plassrt, Gloria Thomas, Larry

and Bea Richardson: special cousins, Cletha Ponds and

Anthony Cravens; special friend Kim B. and a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will continue to

carry Willie in their hearts.
