William Otis Scranton, 82, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, William "Bill" Otis Scranton of Haysville, KS passed away October 7, 2020. He was a self-employed business man and entrepreneur. He was a private pilot, enjoyed traveling the country, attending NASCAR races, reading and watching old westerns, and golfing. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Scranton; children William Scranton, Deanna (Ron) Schantz , Debbie (Thomas) Nelson, Kevin Scranton, Kenneth Scranton, Cheri (Mark) Lankford, Tim Buchkoski, Jason (Shelby) Buchkoski; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, at Old Mission Mortuary with a private family graveside service immediately following.
