Warren Thomas Ramsey, "Coach," 87 lived October 22, 1935 to January 6, 2023. Survived by wife Marilyn (Sage), daughters and son-in-law Melody Ramsey, Sonya and Jim Maxwell; grandchildren Genee and Allen Maxwell; sister-in-law Jane Ramsey, brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Barbara Sage, numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by parents Carl and Minnie Ramsey, brothers Elven (Carolyn), Duane and Carl (Donna Jean); sisters Geraldine (Ray) Neace and Almeta Case. Warren taught 34 years at Pleasant Valley Junior High where he coached basketball and track. Along with his love of sports and young people, Warren enjoyed all kinds of music including singing in the church choir and spending time outside, especially bird watching. Memorial service will be at Wichita First Church of the Brethren, 1103 Jefferson, Saturday January 21 at 2:00 P.M. Memorials are the Child Advocacy Center, Great Plains Nature Center and Wichita Church of the Brethren.
