Wanda Marie Beason, 90, (3/13/1924-3/01/2015 ) has left behind the perishable and is now embracing the treasure of her heart, realizing her hope of eternal life with God the Father through Jesus Christ her Lord! Viewing and visitation with the family will be Friday, March 6, 4-8:00pm at Old Mission Mortuary (3424 E 21st). Funeral service Saturday, March 7, 11:00am at First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 E Kellogg. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Myrtle (Gregson) Stamm, brother Russell Stamm, sister Marjorie Slothower, her husband of 72+ years, Tom Beason, and daughters Kathy Nockels and Pam Ott. She is survived by daughter Trudi Karker, son Brad Beason, sons-in-law Dave Nockels (Kathy) and Gary Ott, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and her sister, Pauline Thomas. We are blessed to continue experiencing the seeds of love, strong faith and prayers that she sowed in us and lived before us. God bless those seeds and prayers! We ask that in lieu of flowers, appreciation of her life be expressed and carried on through the Media Ministry of her church, Wichita First Church of the Nazarene (firstnaz.org) This will help to support the Live Streaming of the Sunday morning church service that she and Tom benefited from for the last few years.
