Haysville, KS – Vonda Lowe, 83, passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2021. A graveside service will take place at Old Mission Wichita Park Cemetery on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021, at 1:00 PM.
A beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Vonda Lowe left this world peacefully, at 83, on May. 17th, 2021. Born in Los Angeles, California on Dec. 14, 1937 to Jess and Francis (Spohn) Farris, Vonda grew up in Wichita, Kansas, where she graduated Wichita West High School. Vonda then married the love of her life Jay on August 11, 1956.
Vonda was preceded in death by her parents, baby sister Janice Faye, brother-in-law Frank Traner and husband of 62 years JL "Jay" Lowe. Vonda is survived by her sisters Shirley Traner, Janet (Clyde) Ward; daughters Pamela Lowe, Debra (Kelly) Hankins; sons Donald (Tammy) Lowe and Steven Lowe.
Vonda is also survived by the love of all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Vonda was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed. When you think of Vonda, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
