Vickie Rhea (Stephenson) Hively, 71, passed away after courageously fighting a long battle with cancer on June 17, 2026, in Mulvane, Kansas. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 3, 1954, to Donald and Mary Jo Stephenson.

Vickie was a retired substitute teacher and disabled American Veterans employee for many years. She was a graduate of Newman University. Vickie's hobbies included crocheting and diamond dots.

Vickie is survived by her sister Charlotte (Elaine) Gillham, niece Beonica Morrison and numerous other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. As well as her cats, Flokey, Sweet Pea and Maggie.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband David, sister Patricia Ann Morrison, and parents Donald and Mary Jo Stephenson.

Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM June 25, 2026, at Old Mission Mortuary.
