Vicki Lynn Bible (née Harrod), 66, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 23, 2025, in Wichita.

Born on April 14, 1959, in Wellington, Kansas, Vicki was the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Marilyn Harrod. She graduated with the class of 1977 from Wellington High School, where she began forming the foundation for a life marked by compassion and dedication.

Vicki found her professional calling in the medical field. She worked in the Heart Cath Lab at Wesley Hospital and later continued her career with Heartland Cardiology. Her work reflected her deep commitment to helping others and left a lasting impact on both colleagues and patients alike.

She was a devoted wife to Myles Bible, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage, a loving mother, sister, friend and a cherished grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Bob" and Marilyn Harrod, as well as her half-brothers Gordon and Jerre Harrod.

Vicki is survived by her husband Myles of Wichita; daughter Kristin Bible (Billy Robbins) of Wichita; step-son Frank (Carolyn) Bible of Kansas City; and step-daughter Myla (Greg) Todd of Kansas City. She also leaves behind her sister Sherre Sawyer and brother Kris (Becky) Harrod, both of Wellington; and grandchildren, Drake and Bella Land of Wichita; Clark and Nolan Bible of Kansas City; Sloan and Weldon Todd of Kansas City.

A memorial fund has been established with the Kansas Humane Society in honor of Vicki's enduring love for animals.

A Graveside Service will be held on June 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Old Mission Cemetery and Mortuary 3424 E 21st St. N, Wichita, Ks 67208.
