Veramae Margreite Ellington, was born July 14, 1936 in Heman, OK. to Francis Dirous and Helen Margreite (Kane) Main. She passed away on June 15, 2015 at Newton, KS. at the age of 78. Vera was a retired CMA Monitor Tech for St. Francis Hospital and loved meeting all the people. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley; her son, Robert (Bob) Eugene Johnson; 4 brothers, Raymond, Frank, Bobby Jack, and Gary. Survivors include her son, Raymond (Renda) Johnson; her daughters, Sherry (Daryl) Vickery, Marilyn (Scott) Fritz, and Carolyn (Robert) Shepherd; 2 sisters, Debra (Gary) Serl and Lucille Bailey; Connie Johnson, daughter-in-law; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren and several Great-great grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen by the family. A Celebration of her Life will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery.
