Vera E. Ingle (Lauppe) passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009. She was born in Winfield, Kansas May 4, 1921 to Ollie Chambers and Yancie Oldham. Vera was raised and schooled in Winfield then moved to Wichita and was employed by Boeing during the 1950's. She also owned a small caf called "Tiny Dinner" in south Wichita.
Proceeded in death by Vivan Ingle and John Lauppe.
Survivors include; son, Ron Lauppe & Virginia of Wichita; daughter, Carolyn Schuler of Wichita; step-daughter, Karen Cain of Wichita; Pat Palmer. Five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; six great-great- grandchildren.
In honor of Vera's life a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel. Interment to follow in Old Mission Cemetery.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made in her name to either Kansas Food Bank, or, Good Shepherd Hospice.
