Valdez Washington, a kind, fun loving man, passed unexpectedly on January 20, 2020 at the age of 44 while sleeping in his home.

Valdez is survived by his mother Trena  Rolland; his two older sisters, Tretta Newton and Ulonda.  Nieces;  Selecia, Tisha, and Marletta Dean. Nephews; Tyler, Melvin, and Myles Busanet. Grandmothers; Alvanah Fitzpatrick and Maxine Dotson.

Valdez aka "Groucho" was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 26, 1975 to Trena and James Washington. He lived his entire life as a humble human being that loved hard and gave all of his heart to his family. He would laugh, love, and cry with you. He was a man of few words, but could definitely engage in a conversation on any topic. He was complicated, yet simple; easy going yet difficult. He was a peace maker, yet mischievous.

Valdez was a Son, a brother, an Uncle, a grandson and a friend. He will be missed and will forever be in our hearts and our souls. We will remember his heartfelt laughs and infectious smile. May he find peace and Joy.
