Tom was born November 16th, 1943, in Wichita, KS to the late Lewis and Evelyn Weide and was also rained in Wichita. His first wife was Jane (Sommerhauser) with whom he had three children. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda Weide, loving father of Tim, Jim, and Kim Weide, brother to Janice Rasdon and JW Weide, and grandfather to Miranda, Chase, Marilyn Weide and Ashely Bergman and several neices and nephews.

Tom attended college studying forestry and joined the Marines until he received his honorable discharge. He also helped save thousands of lives while working at the American Red Cross in blood distribution.

After retirement Tom and Linda resided in a cabin on the lake in Sterling, KS. Tom enjoyed many, many hours fishing at his home. Tom also enjoyed spending time with friends, family and bowling.
