Terence Michael "Mike" Lanning, 73, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019.
Mike was born on September 15, 1946, to Richard "Red" and Zola (Daniel) Lanning in Wichita Kansas.

Mike graduated from West High in 1964 and worked for many years at Boeing and Spirit Aerosystems. After retiring from Spirit in 2013, he worked at Avis Car Rental. He dearly loved his family, friends, travel, WSU Shockers and the St Louis Cardinals. He is remembered for his gentle nature and ready smile.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard and his grandson Troy Lanning Jr.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Karen, daughters Gina (Doug) Crossman, Gayla (Kevin) Kelly, and Kristi Wee; son Troy Lanning; sisters Dixie Weese, Patricia (Jim) Lawrence; Grandchildren Cassie (Ben) Wagenknecht, Meghan Nelson, Chris Crossman, Ashley (Debbie) Henry, Logan (Allix) Zane, Austin Holmes, Jacob Ruse, Kaitlynn Wee and Nathan Wee; Great-grandchildren, LaTrell Carter, Chloe Gathers, Brae'Lynn Herington, Lincoln Holmes, Triana Wagenknecht and soon to be born William Wagenknecht as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
