Susan was born on January 22, 1943. Her parents were Ferrol and Sadie Ferris.
As a child she moved to Wichita Kansas where she graduated from St, Mary's High School. Shortly after graduating, she met Virgil Pool and was married July 23, 1965 in Miami, Oklahoma. She described meeting Virgil as "love at first sight"! They had two children named Robin Lynn Pool and Tracy Allen Pool. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a life long love of reading and her dogs. She always had a dog in her home! Susan's favorite past time was hanging out with family and friends and playing bingo with her best friend of 16 years, Lorainne.

Susan is proceeded in death by her husband Virgil Pool; her son, Tracy Pool and her daughter, Robin Pool. She is survived by her son in law, Charles Everist; grandchildren, Krystal Cole, Natasha Stafford, Damion Pool, Amber Romero and Brandon Everist and great-grandchildren; Nichole Stafford, Tyler Stafford, Karsyn Pool, Piper Everist, and Peyton Everist.
