Stanley Dean Ridgeway was born June 3, 1935 in Wichita, Kansas to Arnold Hamilton and Mina Elizabeth (Padgett) Ridgeway. He died on March 6, 2009 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 73.
Viewing will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, with Celebration of Life to follow at Glenn Park Christian Church.
Burial will be in Kechi Cemetery with military honors.
Memorials may be made to Glenn Park Christian Church. Stanley was a United States Veteran of the Korean War serving from January 1955 to December 1958. He was a retired truck driver for the Keebler Company. He was happily married to Joyce Nichols on October 6, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas for fifty five years. "PaPa" was a truly great man who showed love and compassion everyday to all those around him.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; sons, Brad (Sandy) Ridgeway, Mike (Alice) Ridgeway; daughter, Evelyn (Glen) Cobb; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Lyman (Etta) Ridgeway; many other relatives and friends.
