Shirley Louise Robinson, passed away April 20, 2010. Born November 26, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas to Harry and Maxine (Williams) Knox, she was a lifelong care provider in hospital and private homes.
Family and friends will gather Friday, April 23, 10:30 a.m., for a funeral at Old Mission Mortuary. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Duane Alan Gress, Kenneth Troy Gress; granddaughter Kristi Nicole Gress; great grandchild, Christian Lee Douglas, and fiancTom Edwards. Family members surviving include; sons, Garland Eugene Gress, Robby Ray Robinson, Tom Edwards, Jr., Greg Edwards, Mike Edwards; daughters, Debra Welling, Julie Dahl, Becky Maerz, Paula Johnson; brother, Harry Alan Knox; sister, Karen Edwards; thirty grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
To honor the life of Shirley, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society .
