Sharon Moncla, 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas at Wesley Hospital. She was born November 20th, 1945 in Sacramento, California. She is the youngest of two children. In 1963, she married Byron Moncla. They had two children, Allison and David, and relocated to Kansas while he was in the service. After working at a printing company for over 30 years, she retired as a dog groomer in 2008. She was an avid animal lover and rescued several animals. She enjoyed fishing with her father, and loved the color purple. She spent her days watching golf and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sharon was outgoing, hard working, and had an audacious personality. She was never afraid to speak her mind but loved and cared for everyone in her life. She is survived by her son, David Moncla; daughter, Allison Moore (Barry); grandchildren: Tara (Chris), Drew (Amber), Taylor (Heather), Amber, Jade, and great grandchildren: Jayden, Liam, Alexis, Jaxson, Olivia, Lilyann, Aurora, Dwayne, Alaycia, and Aleah. She is proceeded in death by her parents: Hope and Leonard Kidd and her brother Leonard Jr.
