Ruthie Simmons entered eternal glory and went to be with her Lord on March 12, 2008.
She was born March 31, 1918 in Greenville, Texas to Rueban and Birdie (Brown) Polk.
Ruthie was retired from McConnell Air Force Base in Housekeeping.
She is preceded in death by her son; Henry Price; parents; brothers and sisters.
Survivors of Mrs. Simmons include daughters, Loreada (Charles Jr.) Benson of Wichita; Ramona Pyles of Atlanta, Georgia; son, Larry (Millicent) Simmons of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation with Ruthies family and a lying in state of Mrs. Simmons will take place Monday with family present between 6 - 8 p.m.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Old Mission Mortuary.
Burial will follow as the family walks Mrs. Simmons to her final place of rest in Section O of Old Mission Cemetery.
