Ruth A. Budke, 93, passed away May 11, 2014. Ruth was born March 31, 1921 in Wichita to May and E.E. Baird. A Wichita University graduate, she was a secretary for USD 259 for 25 years and a member of a retired secretaries group. In retirement she volunteered for Red Cross and Riverside Hospital. Ruth's life interests were sports, music, bridge, boating, camping, travel and family. She sang in church choirs from age 13 to 88, including Bethany and Trinity Presbyterian. She was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Robert and Harold, her husband of 57 years. She is survived by daughters, Kathryn (Raymond) Jones and Martha Budke, granddaughter, Susan (Mark) Keene, and great grandchildren; Kristen, Karah and Sam Keene.
