Ronald Clair Alspaw, 86, died at his home, Reflection Living, on August 16, 2022. He was born on
April 22, 1936 in Council Grove, Kansas.

Ron moved to Wichita shortly after he graduated from high school where he lived up until his
death. He became a welder and worked at Vim Trailer, Inc for over 40 years. He was an avid
wood worker, building many things for his kids and grandkids and also doing a lot of remodeling
work on their home.

On May 1, 1960, he married Betty Ford in her hometown of Marion, Kansas. Together they raised
their 2 children. They enjoyed traveling together and spending time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Anna Alspaw and his wife Betty. He is survived
by his brother Dalton (Debbie) of Derby, daughter Lisa (Dale) of Alexander, son Kevin (Christy) of
Cypress, Texas, grandchildren Logan, Nikki, Michael, Steven, Ben, and Nick, and 5 great
grandchildren.
