Robert B. Tarbutton "Bob", 78, Passed away on Dec. 1, 2019 from a short illness in Wichita, Ks. Bob
was born September 4, 1941 in Madison, WI. Bob grew up in Daingerfield, Tx where he met Donna
Harrell and lived most of his life in Dodge City where he had transitioned working for Standard Oil Co.
His careers involved working in various agencies for the State of Kansas, oil and gas leasing and title
work. Bob is also remembered as a former Boy Scouts of America scoutmaster during the 70s and 80s.
His survivors include brother Peter (Pam) of Brenham, Tx, friend Verna Slusser, son Robert, Jr (Ivette) of
Wichita, daughter Jessica Soper (John) of Newport News, Va, son Jonathan (Tina) of Wichita, daughter
Kimberly of Warrensburg, Mo, and stepdaughter Debbie Huskey, along with numerous grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by parents Albert and Jane.  Visitation Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019 at Old Mission Mortuary, 3424 E 21 ^st St N, Wichita from 4-8pm, along with service and burial on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at 1:30pm at Old Mission Mortuary.  In lieu of flowers, family encourages donations to Union Rescue Mission and The Lord's Diner in Wichita.
