Robert Bruce "Butch" Arnold, 69, of Wichita passed away September 28, 2017. He graduated from North High School where he, his brothers, and friends wreaked havoc oh the stories. Following high school, Butch was drafted to the U.S. Army and stationed in Vietnam. Upon returning home, he obtained a job at TWECO and remained there for over 40 years. He then worked for Goddard schools for 10 years prior to retirement. Butch never knew a stranger. He was loved by many lifelong friends, his North end, Tweco and Lyndon families, and his neighbors. He loved his family with all of his heart, loved the outdoors, and loved to tease everyone. He was proceeded in death by his stepfather Warren "Red" Stadlaman, Grandmother Rose "Mom" Reiger, and Grandfather Herbert "Pops" Reiger. Survivors include his wife & soul mate Betty "Betsy" Arnold of home, his mother Bernice Stadalman of Hesston, Brother Steve Arnold, wife Peggy and son Brandon; Sister Patty & Harold Huxman & children Jarod & Kristi and his Brother Greg Stadalman & a son Jason. Survivors also include his children: Brooke Arnold, Chris Arnold, Kim and Adam Balzer, Crystal & Brad Groves, and Jennifer Tillman & partner Justin Graham along with his 6 grand children. Visitation will be held Monday, October 2nd from 4-8 at Old Mission Mortuary, 3424 East 21st Street North. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 3rd at 10:30 A.M. at Old Mission Mortuary with a graveside service and Military Honors to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
