Richard Sweet, 59, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital due to complications from cancer. He was born January 7, 1963, in Wichita, Kansas. He is survived by his son, Blake Sweet, brother, Greg Begay and his dog, Yogi. Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Sue Books,  brother, Sydney Sweet and dog, Dakota. Richard was a giving person and had a big heart. His love for Pitbulls and Harleys were felt by all of those that knew him. While he pursued many trades throughout his life, truck driving brought him the most joy. He had many passions that included cooking/baking, gardening, traveling, taking photos, and spending time with friends, family, and animals. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Old Mission Mortuary at 11 a.m.
