Richard L. Shockley was born September 30, 1953 in Wichita, Ks to Milford and Diana Shockley.  He was raised with his three brothers Jack, Danny, and Steve.  Richard worked as an aircraft contractor for a large portion of his life. As he grew older he began working different jobs and spent a large amount of time helping in his community and ministering to anyone he could.  Richard loved nature and working with his hands, but nothing compared to his love for his children and his love of Christ.  He was truly a beloved father and a loved child of God.  Despite times of hardship Richard held strong to his faith and never stopped loving his children.  Richard has been and always will be a beloved friend, father, and grandfather.  He is survived by Shirley Shockley, his four children Tim, Lena, Angela, and Rachel, as well as his eight grandchildren.  Richard will be deeply missed by many, but comfort is found in knowing, without a doubt, that he was welcomed into the kingdom of God with open arms and is with our Heavenly Father.
