Evans, Richard E. "Rick", was born in Corydon, Iowa to John and Sarrah Evans. He died Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 81. Rick was a retired supervisor with the U.S. Post Office. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, a step-daughter, Dee Gordon, and wives, Eve Evans and Joyce Evans. Rick is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, John (Ginger) Evans, Mark Evans, Jock (Peggy) Spencer, Randy (Patti) Spencer; daughters, Brenda Spencer, Kimberly (Jim) Newhouse and Rhonda Clyne 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life is scheduled on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 10:30a.m. all to be held at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel. Military honors will follow at Old Mission Cemetery. Memorials to Woodridge Christian Church, Wichita, Ks.
