Richard Craig Hackley, was born July 12, 1949 in Wichita, KS. to Chester Omega and Iola Lurline (Johns) Hackley. He passed away peacefully at the age of 65 on Oct. 6, 2014 in Wichita, Ks. Richard was a retired Dillons employee and a composer of Christian songs. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Chester Dell. Surviving him are his wife of 42 years, Richanne; a son, Stanton of Kansas City, MO.; a daughter, Marlena (Andy) Aitken of Wichita, Ks.; 2 grandchildren, Eilidh and Iain Aitken; a sister, Susan Mengelkoch of Wichita, Ks; nephew, Dale (Anne) Mengelkoch; 2 great nieces, Grace and Emma Mengelkoch and a host of friends. The Gathering will be held Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary.
