Richie, Richard Aaron McNabb V, passed away at age 36 while at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota on June 29, 2022.  He was born January 7, 1986 to Richard H. and Fayrene McNabb.  Richie was a graduate of Collegiate High School in Wichita and Kansas State University with a Bachelor's in Economics.  He lived his whole life in Wichita, Kansas though he had dreamed of traveling.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Fayrene McNabb, and his cousin, Joshua Bolt.
Richie had a broad range of friends over the decades.  He is well known for his long talks, usually about faith, economics, and politics.  He loved God and made a deep impact on friends and family.   Though his life suffered many medical complications, he was a fighter to the end.  The body he had on earth was broken, but he is undoubtedly throughly enjoying his whole, new body in the presence of his Savior.
Richie leaves behind a loving and dedicated father, who was also his roommate and best friend.  There are many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends that will miss him greatly.  Richie's family wishes to thank the many people who supported him during his illness.  That support includes home and hospital visits, donations to his GoFundMe for his kidney transplant, and many other gifts received as he fought his multiple illnesses.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday, July 8th from 4-8 pm at the Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita, KS.  Funeral service will be Saturday, July 9th at 10:30 am at the Old Mission Mortuary and a private burial will be at Swiss Cemetery in Whitewater, Kansas where he will be buried next to his mother.
