Rex Junior Lewis Hurst was born May 28, 1922 in Granby, Missouri to David Larkin and Vina Rachel (Huffman) Hurst. He died February 24, 2013 at Wichita, Kansas at the age of 90. Rex was retired from Boeing after 35 years as a Supervisor. He was a proud US Army Veteran of WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and infant sister and a granddaughter, Tracy Hurst. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Virginia; a son, David (June) Hurst; 4 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services are scheduled Thursday, Feb. 28, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary with burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
