Reva Guerra, was born to Effie and Ernest Hyslop in Supply, Arkansas, on May 24, 1924.
Most of her life as a child and early years as a young adult were spent in Oklahoma. Reva married Albert Guerra on October 19, 1946 and celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2006. They were owners/operators of Camelot Realty, a Wichita-area real estate firm since 1968.
Preceding her death were her parents; brothers, Ralph and Glen Hyslop; twin sisters, Opal Jones and Erpal Payton; sister, Elsie Huff and granddaughter, Kerry Watkins.
Survivors left to mourn her loss are husband, Albert Guerra; twin sister, Eva (Jim) Sagerty; daughters, Geri (Vince) Watkins, Diana Guerra, Linda (Bill) Powell and Debra Guerra; and 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Her legacy, to be sure, is the path she has laid down for her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on perseverance and enjoying life to the fullest.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday; visitation will be at 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m., all at Old Mission Mortuary.
A memorial has been established at Faith Home Health and Hospice.
