Stroot, Raymond Sr., 78, retired Cessna employee, Korean War Veteran, proud and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away September 16, 2009. Preceded in death by parents, sister, brother and daughter. Survivors are wife, Betty; sons, Ray (Rene) and Michael (Carla); daughters, Anna (Joe) and Lynn (Vance); 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; 1 sister and many wonderful friends. Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009 at St. Cecilia Church in Haysville, KS at 10 a.m., with the Rosary starting at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at the Old Mission Mortuary, Friday, September 18, 2009 from 1-7 p.m. Family will be in attendance from 5-7 p.m. Memorial in lieu of flowers with the Arthritis Foundation .
