Raymond Dean Katzenmeier , age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday May 9th, 2016 surrounded by family in Wichita, KS. He was born in Ellsworth, KS to Raymond and Mildred Katzenmeier on Feb. 16, 1941. Ray is survived in death and forever loved by his wife of 54 years, Donna and their sons: Steven (Denise), Jeffrey and Barrett; his grandchildren: Shawn (Adrea), Eric (Autumn) Lucas and Jacob. Great-grandchildren: Jackson, Brooklyn, Caden, and Skyler. A multitude of loving Nieces and nephews. Daughters in law: Willa Norman and Susan Katzenmeier. Ray is also survived by his twin sister Romona Jean Calvert and oldest sister Barbara Rusch.
Ray was a Real estate Broker, Home Builder and Owner/Operator of Midwest Contractors. He cherished time with his family more than anything. Raymond enjoyed riding Harleys, hunting, golfing, classic cars, drag racing and family trips to lakes.
Family and friends are cordially invited for a viewing and visitation with the family from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Old Mission Funeral Home located at 3424 E. 21st St N in Wichita, Kansas. The funeral service will be held at Kechi Township Cemetery 6523 N. Hillside Wichita KS. 67219. on Tues. May 17th at 1:30pm.
