In loving memory of Raquel Orozco Rivera a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Raquel brought joy to the lives of those around her, as she was a supporting pillar of love.

Raquel lived 54 years in Wichita, She meet her husband Benito while chaperoning for their respective older siblings.

Benito survives Raquel along with their 3 children, Nora Jean, Maria Francisca Bailey and Benito Ezekiel Rivera. Along with their children, Raquel has 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Raquel wore many hats in the workforce, She started as a kid working the fields, to retail in her teen years. After moving to Wichita, and working for Cessna and Beechcraft as a machine operator,  Raquel worked as a CNA providing care to ladies at St. Joe convent and at different nursing homes.

Raquel made an outstanding impression in the life's of children. She lovingly served as a Girl Scout leader for Maria and as a teachers aid for Ezekiel.

Raquel was a dedicated missionettes and Sunday school teacher guiding and inspiring young children in their journey of faith. Raquel was an active member In church and in the woman's ministry.

Raquel had a passion for hosting and entertaining guests. She adored having family and friends over and creating a warm and welcoming environment for them to enjoy. Raquel's delicious cooking brought countless family and fellowship gatherings together at the family home.

Raquel was truly an outstanding support for her family and community.

Raquel Orozco Rivera was born on September 27, 1946, and passed away on December 23,2023.

Her love and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
