Philip Constantine "Deno" Stathis, age 96, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2022. Phil graduated East High School, after which he entered the Navy, WWII for 2 1/2 years. After getting out of the Navy, he attended Business College. He was an owner of an automotive parts store for several years and was a self-employed tax accountant. Phil was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and served several terms on the church board as president, secretary and other positions. Phil was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, godfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Phil is preceded in death by his wife, of 56 years, Christine; parents; daughter, Dena (Stathis) Lemke; son, Ronald (Chris) Stathis and brothers, Samuel & George Stathis. Survivors include his son, Eugene (Eleni), of Wichita; daughter, Irene Trester, of Toronto, Ontario, Cananda; cousins; nieces and nephews. He devoted his life to his "faith" and "family".
