Obituary

Philip Max Clutter, 81, passed away July 26, 2022, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born to Francis and Freda (Newkirk) Clutter in Cherokee, Oklahoma, April 27, 1941. Philip was a retired sales person. His current self appointed unofficial career was flirting with waitresses all over Wichita. He was a graduate from North High, class of 1959 and he was a great dancer. Philip is survived by his wife, Donna Clutter, of 30 years; children, Travis (Elaine) White of Grapevine, Texas, Stephanie Kaye Awtrey of Wichita, Becky (Paul) Cunningham of Harrah, Oklahoma, Steven (Margie) Sanders of Wichita, Kansas, Brenton (Kristi) Sanders of Argyle, Texas, and Marlana (Michael) Scobee of Wichita, Kansas; 22 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and numerous friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Freda Clutter and sister, Arlene Lavonne Clutter. Philip had touched different people in his blessed time he had with us. He will be missed with empty heart by all. Following the service will be a gathering at Club Rodeo, K15 and McArthur from 1  p.m. to 3 p.m.
