Peggy Ann Swigert, 64, passed away in Wichita, KS, January 20, 2024. She was born in Wichita, KS, April 3, 1959, to John and Mary Carroll. Peggy was a nurse in nursing homes for 30 years, she started as a CNA and worked her way up to LPN. She enjoyed gardening, watching true crime and emergency vet shows and learning how to paint with her husband Gary. Peggy loved Christmas, going shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Gary Swigert, of 42 years; son, Douglas Swigert (Elvira); daughters, Shannon, Tracy (Benjamin) and Leslie (Travis); brother, Ed Carroll; sister, K.C. Tusher (Bruce); 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Doug Carroll. She will be forever remembered and treasured in our hearts.
