Pearl Irene Merriman, 79 entered into eternal life Tuesday, October 13th. She was born Sept 4, 1930 to Benjamin and Myrtle Floyd in Harrah, OK.
Pearl worked for the USD259 as a Lunch Aide and Cook for 37 years until retiring in 1997. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronaldlee Floyd.
Pearl is survived by her siblings, Eva Coleman-Wichita, Dortha Herren - Miama,OK, John Floyd - Wichita, Neoma Smith - Dustin, OK, Alice Fae Kissack - Haysville, Her children; Doyle(Connie) Merriman, Janet (Robert) Wolley both of Wichita, Grandchildren; Chad(Melissa) Merriman, Jennie (Scott) Chamberlain, Summer Hunsaker, Scott White, Shawn White plus she was blessed with 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday Oct 16th 4-8pm with a celebration of life Saturday Oct 17th 2:00pm at Old Mission Chapel here in Wichita. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas.
