Paul Vernon Shannon, 77, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Thelma (Walls) Shannon. They were married on June 14, 1953. To this union a daughter, Tandy (Shannon) Kratzer; and a son, Tyrone Shannon, were born.
Mr Shannon was born in 1930, in Denver, Colorado. He was a graduate of East High School, and retired his employment with School District 259 Service Center after more than 40 years. He was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2007 at St. James Episcopal Church, 3750 East Douglas, Wichita, Kansas.
