Patty Lou Turner, 80, adored mother, joined her Lord and Savior Sept. 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mildred Espelund and her beloved husband, George. She is survived by: daughter, Kathy (Mike), and sons; Steve, Brian (Chris), and Jim; grandchildren, Sarah, Aaron (Lisa), Drew, Danny, Michael, Jessica, Kylee; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Leo, Ike, and Henry who dearly loved their Grandma Pat. Pat loved family gatherings, holidays, and celebrations. She and George enjoyed taking family vacations and traveled the globe, taking great pleasure in their adventures while appreciating the wonders of the world. Pat was very creative, talented, energetic, with a great sense of humor, and always optimistic. She was a talented seamstress and lovingly created special costumes for her children and grandchildren. Pat was a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything, be it a T.V., broken watch, or a broken heart. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities or Olivet Baptist Church.
