Nathaniel Johnson was born on July 24, 1932, to the late Bailey Johnson and Florine (Alston) Johnson in Ozark, Arkansas. He was the fourth of six children.
He graduated from Lincoln High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He married the love of his life, Dolores West. To this union four children: Larry, Cynthia, Belinda, and Denetra.
He put on Christ in the mid 1960's at 11th Street Church of Christ.
Over the years Nathaniel learned to do many types of work. Wash and polish cars, he was a mechanic. He drove semi-trucks just to name a few but lawn work was something he loved.
He always had a story or two to tell anyone who would listen. He encouraged his family and friends.
Preceded him in death: His parents, Bailey and Florine Johnson; three sisters, Lura Bell Johnson, Colleen Johnson, and Laura Mae Newton; two brothers, Samuel Joe Johnson and Floyd Bailey Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife of 72 years, Dolores; three daughters, Cynthia Drone, Belinda (Al) Johnson, and Denetra Johnson of Wichita, Kansas; one son, Larry Johnson of Seattle, Washington.
