"Lucy", Minnie Lavern Briggs was born September 27, 1972 in De Queen, Arkansas to Roy and Augusta (Bell) Briggs. She passed away on Oct. 30, 2015 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 43 years, one month and 3 days.
Lucy loved to compete in the Special Olympics. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy and a brother, Johnny Evans. Leaving to mourn her passing is her mother, Augusta; 5 brothers, Terry, Antonio (Lynette), Bill, James Evans and Calvin (Shelly) Avery; 3 sisters, Gloria, Etta, and Mary Evans; several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
