Millard "Mark" Markham passed away on March 5, 2020 at the age of 70. After more than 4 years battling cancer, he died peacefully with his wife and son by his side, thanks to Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, KS. Mark was born Sept. 11, 1949 on a farm in Scott City, KS. He married his high school sweetheart before going into the Air Force for the Vietnam War. He loved singing, theater, gardening and cooking. Mark cherished any time being with his family and was always up for a family reunion or gathering. He was a bold patriarch, a good friend and a generous man. He will be loved and missed by many. He's survived by his wife of 52 years, Gwenda Joy; his only son, Robert Don; grandchildren Brooklynn (Mark R.), Bre (Kara) and R. Bryce (Tammi); great grandson Clayton and Mark's siblings, Rebecca Rountree and Roy Markham of Wichita and Richard (Darlene) Markham of Festus, MO.
