Michael Wayne Miner, 66, passed away September 8, 2024, at home in Wichita, Kansas. He was born June 12, 1958, in Wichita, to Harold and Lois (Janes) Miner. Michael enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. He worked for and retired from the Police Department after 25 years and from the Veterans Association. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Fumi Miner, of 45 years; children, Jennifer (Mario) Palacio and Paul Miner; grandchildren, Steven Miner, Jocelynn Palacio, Matthew Palacio and Rylee Palacio. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lois;  sister, Geraldine Fritsch and nephew Richard Wage.
