Mayola D. Walker-Johnson, 63, went home to the Lord on Feb. 24, 2011.
Visitation will be held Thursday 1 to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service Friday at 11:00 a.m., both at Old Mission Mortuary.
She was a Boeing Computer operator for 35 yrs. and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Melvin & Nancy Atkins.
Survived by her husband of 17 yrs., Tyrone Johnson of Wichita; son, Raymond (Wanda) Williams of Hampton, VA; step-daughter, Kourtney Johnson; brothers, Melvin (Wanda) Lewis of Tulsa, OK, Robin Atkins of Wichita, Marvin Joe Atkins of Tampa, FL, Melton Atkins of Topeka, Marlin (LeQuitia) Atkins, Marvenson Atkins, both of Wichita; sisters, LueVern Atkins, Emma Lewis, both of Wichita, Gay L. (Lawrence) Wynn of Houston, TX, Beatrice (Roy) Hayden, Arlesa Atkins, Melinda (Henry) Neloms, all of Wichita; 5 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
