Maude Elaine Dillon, died May 22, 2012 at hospice in Wichita.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Albert, William and Frank, and she is survived by one sister, Mildred Allen of Wichita and one brother, Oscar N. Dillon Jr. of Boulder, Colorado.
Elaine spent many years in the U.S. Army and retired as a 1st Sergeant in 1977. She then went on to work at the Veterans Hospital in Wichita, retiring from there with twenty years service in 1998. She loved to travel and visited many countries while in the Army and later as a civilian. She was a loving sister and a devoted friend, always eager to be helpful and always with a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed.
Viaitation 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 7 to 8 p.m.; services 10 a.m. Thursday, May 31, both at Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita.
