Mary Lorene Morgan, was born Sept. 4, 1933, in Vian, OK, to John and Viola (Young) Bass, Sr. She died Nov. 12, 2014, in Wichita, at the age of 81. She was a retired self-employed upholsterer. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack D. Morgan; brothers, John E. Bass, Jr., Carl Bass, Raymond Bass and Bill Bass. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Daniel May of Mt. Hope, KS; grandchildren, Kayla and Jake May; sisters-in-law, Lois Bass of Niangua, MO, and Cleda Bass of Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16; funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, both at Old Mission Mortuary; with entombment at Serenity Mausoleum following.
