Mary Ellen Clark, 81, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024 in Derby, KS. She was born on December 13, 1942, in Bloomington, IL, to Henry and Nettie (Harris) Quinn.

Mary was a talented and passionate crafter who delighted in sewing, crocheting, knitting, tatting, macramé, and drawing. Her creativity and artistry were gifts she lovingly shared with family and friends throughout her life. She dedicated many years to her work at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, where her kind helpfulness was appreciated.

Mary is survived by her son, Robert Clark of Wichita; her daughter, Pamela C. Brown; and her siblings, Mike Quinn, Sue Hays, and Linda Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Clark; her infant daughter, Nicole Christine Clark; her parents, Henry and Nettie Quinn; her brothers, Don Quinn and Frank Quinn; her sister, Jane Segobiano Horstmann; her brothers-in-law, Bill Hays and Fred Thomas Jr.; her niece, Debbie Segobiano Hubar; her nephew, Bill J. Hays; and her great-nephew, Austin J. Hays.

A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held in Wichita, KS on December 6, 2024 at 2pm at Old Mission Mortuary. A second memorial will be held in Bloomington, IL at a later date. Details for the second memorial will be announced once finalized.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund.

Mary's warmth, creativity, and love for her family will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
