Martha M. Lynch
September 21, 1937 - December 7, 2021
Martha M. Lynch answered the call of Jesus at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was a dedicated, lifelong member of Johnson Tabernacle CME Church where she was a soloist in the Senior Choir, and a member of the Stewardess and Usher Boards. She held the positions of Lt. General in the Antler Guard and was the Loyal Daughter Ruler with the Council of Princess Temple 557 of the Wichita Elks Lodge IBPOEW. Martha was a member of The Golden Age Club where she held the position of Bereavement Chairperson, Past Sergeant-at-Arms and member of the Entertainment Committee. She was a caring committed mother, a dedicated grandmother with a continual generous spirit giving from her heart to benefit and care for so many. She mentored many from her years in Boy Scouts to the Judge Riddel Boys Ranch. She enjoyed discovering fashion treasures and beautifully presented them! She was an avid reader, especially of her morning newspaper. Martha was born September 21, 1937 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lynch, Sr., parents Glover Bell and Gladys Nash, sister: Mildred Sims, brothers: Dan and Marvin Nash. She leaves to honor her legacy her sisters: Mary Pettie and Stella Glover; brothers: Elza and David Nash; daughters: Elizabeth (James) Jones of Wichita, Reva (Danny) Kirk of Severn, Maryland; sons: Terry (Bobbie) Nash, Marvin Lynch, Jr., Kevin (Daphne) Lynch and Mark Lynch all of Wichita; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and countless extended family and friends. She leaves with us her spirit of strength and resolve. Martha will truly be missed.
