Marsha Jean Voigt was born in Wichita, KS on June 22, 1951, to Alice and Jack Robertson. She passed away in Wichita, KS on January 17, 2025.

Marsha graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 1969 and earned an Associate's Degree from Wichita State University. In her younger years she worked as a secretary, a daycare teacher and assistant manager at Cloth World. She later attended technical college to earn a degree in medical transcription. She worked as a medical transcriptionist until she retired.

Marsha met her husband, Dwight, while working at a Peter Pan Ice Cream Store in college. He was a police officer who frequented the shop. They were married on June 6, 1971, and had two children. She was an avid quilter and a member of the Prairie Quilt Guild for many years. It's estimated that she made over 100 quilts.

Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Jack Robertson, and mother, Alice (Henderson) Robertson.

Marsha is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rudolph Dwight Voigt; son, Bryan Voigt; daughter, Rene Voigt; brother, Mark Robertson (Phyllis); sister, Cheryl Allen (Ken); nephews, Matt Robertson and Logan Robertson; brother-in-law, Curtis Norman Voigt; and sister-in-law, Loree Voigt.

Her celebration of life service will be held on February 7, at 1:00PM at Old Mission Mortuary. There will be no graveside service.
