Erwin, Marjanna Ruth (Collins), died April 18, 2011 in Wichita, Kansas.
She was born at Winoa Lake, Indiana July 20, 1920.
She graduated from Ball University. She taught for forty three years as a full time high school teacher and substituted for an additional five more years.
She retired with her husband to Vass, North Carolina where she joined Cypress Presbyterian Church and she started Junior Church.
After his death she moved to Wichita to live with her daughter. She joined Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Later she moved to Larksfield Place until her death.
Marjanna is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney W. Erwin; sister, LeNora Peckinpaugh; brother, Galen Collins.
Survivors include; son, David (Dr. Barbara) Erwin, Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Linda (Thomas) Mason, Wichita, KS; sisters, Evangeline Maloubier, Southern Pines, NC, Donnabelle Boughton, Vass, NC, Rosalyn Lamb, Mead, NE; grandchildren, William Erwin, Jonathan Erwin, Christina Mason Podany, Clifton Mason.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 21, 3:30 at the Larksfield Place Auditorium.
Funeral Service to be held Monday, April 25, 11:00 at Cypress Presbyterian Church in Cameron, North Carolina.
