After a long hard battle with Brain Cancer, God called Maria home on in the early hours on Friday August 6, 2021.

Maria was born in Ogdensburg, New York to William and Shirley Myers. In 1964 her family moved to Wichita, Ks. where she met and married the love of her life David Hernandez on June 21, 1980.

Maria was employeed by Old Mission Mortuary and Cemetery as an Administrater. She enjoyed doing crafts and puzzles and reading. Her greatest love of all was spending her time with family.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents.

Maria is survived by her husband David, Sons Nicholas (Amy), Anthony (Lyndsey), Daughter Andrea (Mike) Hernandez. Grandchildren, Hannah, Lawson, William, Elly, Hunter, Bella, Hudson, Madison, Maci, Jacob, Dominic and Giovanni, Brothers Chris (Vickey), Tom (Nancy), Richard (Debbie), John (Evelyn) Myers. Sisters, Tina Myers, Virgina (Steve) Mallett, Valery(Jeff) Frye and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
