Wilson-Mein, Margaret "Margie" Mae, 92, went to our Lord on Monday evening, Septmeber 28, 2009. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Gary, a granddaughter, Robin and her husband, Lloyd, all of Wichita, and her siblings, George, Anna, Ed, Orin, Floyd and Glenn, all from Walnut and Parsons, KS. Survivors are two granddaughters, Carla Stroot (Mike) and their son Joshua, Teresa Acosta (son and daughter), Detroit, MI, along with many nieces and nephews who all loved her very much. She was a wonderful person who loved nature, gardening,and cared for her home and family. Her life experiences growing up in the Great Depression, working and raising a child during World War II to being a Den Mother for her son's Boy Scout Troop and attending all athletic and school functions no matter rain or shine and still finding time to work part-time as a manager of a drug store, she was a true working mom. Her ability to adjust and her influence touched our lives and we will always be grateful to her and for her gifts of love and kindness to all.
